We are all disappointing that it seems like this season may be over for most of us. So I’ve decided to create a NC District Champs on the FRC simulator that has grown in popularity recently. This is an FRC style event open to students, mentors and alumni of any NC team. The tentative date for this event is May 9th, from about 3-8 pm.
If you aren’t with a NC team we invite you to still join the discord, we are looking for more staff to assist with running the event, as well as sponsors to fund prizes for the winning alliance. If you’d like to participate in this event join the discord below

It really has and the events are a ton of fun
Can anyone provide me some details on their Sim server setups to get this to run well without lag? My experience has been it seems to peg the CPU no matter what.
The ftc sim actually has a discord with many people to help you out
Will this event interfere with the FIRST Virtual Showcase on May 2nd, which hasn’t yet provided an end time? (https://www.firstchampionship.org/)
I honestly have no idea how long that is going to run, if there are hesitations with it running longer than 5 hours we can move it back a week
graphics to fastest, make the server instance window as small as possible, run it on a good CPU (my 6600k struggles a little when i have multiple instances of it up, though id probably do better if i closed chrome for once…)
