FRC 1410 Denver Slingshot Screening

Attention all Colorado FIRST teams!

George Washington Robotics Team 1410 will be hosting a showing of Slingshot at the Elaine Wolf Theatre at the Jewish Community Center on March 21st. Any local FRC teams are welcome to come!

In case you aren’t familiar with Slingshot, it is a movie directed by Paul Lazarus about Dean Kamen and his water project called Slingshot tasked with providing water to those who would not normally have it. The movie is a great and inspiring exploration about overcoming challenges in engineering, FIRST Robotics, world health, and 21st Century thinking. The movie is an instant delight to anyone already familiar with Dean Kamen or engineering in general, it is an interesting and educating experience for anyone who is not. More information is available at the website below.
