If an opponent robot stuck on the hub and you touch him all 3 robots are considered level3?
G13. Opponents in their HAB ZONE are off-limits. A ROBOT may not contact an opponent ROBOT if
that opponent ROBOT’S BUMPERS are fully in their HAB ZONE.
Violation: FOUL. If this violation occurs during the last 30 seconds of the MATCH, the contacted
opponent ROBOT, and all partner ROBOTS it’s fully supporting, are considered to have CLIMBED
to LEVEL 3 at the end of the MATCH.
This rule states that only the robot you contact and any robots it is directly supporting receive an automatic Level 3 climb.
If you’re asking about an opponent stuck in your HAB zone, each of your alliance partners would need to contact the stuck robot to receive the climbing bonus. Also note G17, which forbids touching a tipped robot for 10 seconds post fall. I don’t know how these rules would interact with each other in a situation where an opponent robot tipped into your HAB zone during endgame. I’m sure the ref would rule in your favor if it was apparent that any contact was accidental and not intentional to draw a G13.
I believe if somebody asked Q&A, the answer would be something along the lines of “We cannot comment on hypothetical scenarios. The exact answer will be up to the Head Ref at your event.”
Going along the spectrum from stuck robot making contact to robot that may have been tipped over, you go from a pretty routine “3 at level 3” call (G13x3) to some combination of C8, G13 (negated by C8?), G17, and G19 that will take 5 minutes to sort out and issue the requisite cards, fouls, and climbs.
HOWEVER. Past rules of a similar nature have often specified that it was irregardless of who initiated the contact; this rule does not. Therefore, it may be reasonable to ask a Q&A if this rule is similar, or if a (example) red robot in red Hab initiating contact with a blue robot entering the Hab would get nothing out of it.
