Shooter Testing
Today, we started testing one of our Speaker shooter prototypes. We made an adjustable prototype which has the opportunity to change the following parameters:
- compression
- height
- angle
- speed
- wheel type and diameter

The first tests we did were in a straight line in front of the speaker. With some small adjustments to the angle of the shooter, it was pretty easy to find a sweet spot. We were able to shoot accurately from about 3 meters in front of the subwoofer. After that, the note trajectories were a bit more inconsistent, but this might be because of the flex in our prototype.
Disclaimer: Before you’re watching the videos; you may want to lower your device volume a bit since the shooter makes some noise
After these tests, we did a few quick tests with our shooter in an angle towards the speaker. Those were also pretty consistent till you were about 30 centimeters away from the driver station. From that point onwards, the notes consistently fell out of the speaker, because the angle was just too sharp.
