Team E.L.I.T.E.'s resident CAD guy here to drop a link to our 2020 FIRST Infinite Recharge robot Xtrēmachēn 23 .
Unfortunately, like the majority of FIRST teams, our robot never hit the field for even a practice match this season due to the current SARS-CoV-2 Pandemic. The plug on our season was pulled at the driver’s meeting at the Orlando regional. It is with hopeful hearts we have faith this will all be over soon enough so we can get back to some level of normal and get back to our machines again and if FIRST is willing XM23 may see official carpet in 2021.
Unlike last year I don’t have all that much to say about our machine but I am willing to answer any and all questions after tonight’s FUN interview with our driver Alex (@alex.richards48) and copilot Aidan.
A note on the CAD: We work in SolidWorks so I have taken a pack 'n go of our work, zipped that up in the archive as well as an included .step export of the overall assembly.
