FRC 4828 RoboEagles | 2025 Build Thread | Open Alliance

Hey Chief Delphi! Welcome to the RoboEagles 2025 build thread! This is our second season as an FRC Open Alliance team and we are super excited to continue this journey of knowledge-sharing after a successful first year in the Open Alliance!

About Our Team

RoboEagles are a 13th year veteran team based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. As part of Swift Creek Robotics, our team leads many STEM community outreach events in Wake County and competes as part of the FIRST North Carolina District. During the build season, our team meets at Swift Creek Community Center on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays so we hope to post OA updates at least once a week, showing the progress of our robot and design from start to finish. During the pre-season, we will get started slower by posting the activities our team is engaged in around once every few weeks. This past season we had 35 students of which ~24% identified as female or non-binary and ~85% were from minorities. During the 2024 season, we won the FNC District Wake County Event as Alliance 1 Captain, the Innovation in Control Award at the FNC District UNC Pembroke Event, the Industrial Design Award at FNC DCMP, and ranked 5th in the state – qualifiying for the World Championship for the first time in 8 years. Over the offseason, we participated at the Indiana Robotics Invitational (Our Lead Mentor, William Moore, winning the Mentor of the Year Award) and NC THOR West (Finishing as finalists). We look forward to an even more successful season in 2025!

2025 Competitions

Our team will attend the FNC District Catawba County Event and the FNC District Pitt County Event this upcoming season.

We hope to soar to new heights this season!
