FRC 8725 is a team of passionate students with a strong interest in technology, and our team name is Misty Panther. We were founded during the summer of 2021 and have already participated in three FRC regional competitions. Our mission is to foster teamwork and develop professional skills among our members through FRC competitions, while also providing opportunities for students to explore future career paths.

Our goal is to compete in the Houston Championship, which is not only our team’s objective but also the dream of every member. We will keep working tirelessly and move forward with our dreams!

Team Vision

Our team is guided by the following four core visions:

Inspiring:Team members are inspired by the spirit of the FRC competition to start with ourselves and do our best to influence the next generation.
Co-Creation: Throughout our high school journey, we aim to create unique and wonderful experiences for our members by participating in FRC competitions. We also aspire to achieve excellence as a team.
Sharing: “Share blessings, share hardships” is our team spirit. We cultivate a sense of togetherness among our members, where we share both the achievements and joys of competition, and enhance team cohesion.
Common Good: Through continuous knowledge and skill transfer, we empower younger students, building a solid foundation for FRC 8725’s long-term sustainability.

Achievements

2022: Participated in the FRC Taiwan Regional Competition and ranked 28th.
2023: Competed in the FRC Hawaii Regional Competition and secured the 3rd position.
2024:Competed in the FRC Istanbul and Bosphorus Regional Competition and ranked 10th and 12th.

This is our first working day after kick off. Once the topic was announced, we promptly discussed how to design our robot and analyzed the strategies. We are doing our testing lately, and we had started to test our intake since the kick off night. We have already finished our intake testing today. Here is our progress below.

2025 Season Week1

This is summary of the week one by team 8725. During the first week of the FRC game season 2025, we learnt a lot. After the pressure from the game, We felt we are more united than before. We hope we can leave for Houston for the FRC championship just like our slogan “Keep Going and Dream It “. Here is our progress of week one.

Hardware:
1.The aluminum square connecting the elevator motor is processed
2. Motor assembly completed
3. Add holes on the bottom of the elevator
4. Elevator connector (wood) processing completed
5. Elevator outer layer processing completed
6. Intake v2 testing completed
7. Both sides of the elevator middle layer
8. Intake v3 testing completed
9. The upper and lower processing of the elevator middle layer is completed
10. Elevator assembly completed
11. v1 settings finalized

Software:
