Team 3641, The Flying Toasters, has recently partnered up with the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum to host a FIRST Robotics Festival on the weekend of May 11th and 12th. Your team is invited to act as an exhibitor if you choose to attend! Attached to this message is a flier regarding the event and what we are requesting for participating teams.
The festival will run from 10AM—4PM on Saturday, May 11th, and from noon—4PM on Sunday, May 12th. Teams may arrive an hour early on that Saturday to unload and set up. Robots may be stored securely in the museum overnight to reduce the hassle of reloading. Further details about the event, check-in and shift procedures, necessary supplies, and promotional materials will be released as we receive them.
** Please let us know via email at "] if your team plans on attending by 2/15/2013. **Due to the time-sensitive nature of coordinating this event, we must impose this deadline to determine if we will need to invite additional teams. Please do not hesitate to contact us or the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum ([www.aahom.org](http://www.aahom.org/)) with any questions or concerns.
We started demonstrating at the Hands-On Museum in Ann Arbor 5 years ago, and have done it yearly since. We usually did both FRC and FLL. Unfortunately, this year, we couldn’t make it out and I never got a chance to tell Rebecca.
I’m glad to see teams continuing with them. The Hands-On museum is an incredible place. I like their brick area. There are so many things one can do with 1000 foam bricks. 8 foot tall castle walls are a challenge! :yikes:
Slots may still be reserved until mid-March at the absolute latest, although I would prefer sooner notice.
Reserved slots:
3641, The Flying Toasters (South Lyon)
2832, Livonia Warriors (Livonia)
470, Alpha Omega Robotics (Ypsilanti)
66, The Flyers (Ypsilanti)

Teams 66, 280, 470 and 2832: We will be distributing your promotional materials starter kits at the Livonia Churchill event.
Team 862: I will give your starter kit directly to Mr. Siddiqui the next time he visits us. If he does not visit prior to the first week of competition, I will deliver it to your pit at the Kettering district event.
These kits will include a few copies of different fliers to hang around your school and community to promote the festival.
Digital files will be sent to all teams through email as PDFs for additional copies. Feel free to also create your own fliers if you wish to.
