The description of the very small item is that it is one item (like the battery), not multiple items (like the 4 aluminum tubes from last year, or the totes). So, not a set of drive team buttons.
These seem to be accurate. I thought the tubes could be part of a field element, but if they were in the Kit last year, probably not.
Maybe dice/a die? But they’re pretty inexpensive, so why only send one? Game pieces last year became damaged from being shoved in the tote, so they might be outside of it this year.
My thoughts exactly, but as someone else said it is just one item…
Must be a small drone…
Possibly, if it folds up tightly.
Maybe it’s a battery for the minibot or a minibot kit?
Starts off small until you fill it with H2, Imagine the fun it that. Just don’t tell Al that we are using flammable materials. :ahh:
The other option is hot air. No shortage in that.
Here are some things that might be bad to put in a tote:
a mouse, a hamster, a frog, an insect, a glass trinket, soup, a small ice sculpture, C4, chocolate, a goldfish, a plant, something battery operated that needs to stay powered at all times, something that is volatile when exposed to air, or a really strong magnet
Thinking out loud…seems like there’s a chance that a game piece won’t be part of the KoP, so what games could be played without game pieces?
The game could be played entirely with field elements that teams have to build or be based entirely off of robot position/actions without game pieces…thoughts?
Most game pieces will fit inside of the bin with the rest of the donated parts, so just because there isn’t a different package doesn’t mean there is no game piece.
I may be wrong but I think that the 2 lb increase in Kit Tote weight could be because of the game piece(s). The foam ball last year was somewhat light compared to, say, frisbees.
