The GDC will fail to specify and it will cause a disaster at the Week 0 event (or whatever we decided to call it) and cause several team’s robots to need complete redesign.

So is it just a coincidence that this video is posted on the same day that Tom Brady’s suspension was overturned? I am actually serious when I say this points to footballs being used as game pieces not deflatable duck toys. Also 50 years of NFL? If footballs will be used as game pieces this will be the year.

Notice the white toy robot in the bottom left hand corner. It is obvious that the 2016 game will require teams to build small hordes of robots to perform various functions, the most important of which is dancing. The team whose robots have the craziest moves and the best performance to “Never gonna give you up” will win.

I doubt it’ll be the game piece. This year’s piece has to be triangular, since the last two were square and round.
