Just to break up the funny stuff a little, I did want to throw this link in here for anyone who might get upset about something changing with the former Chairman’s Award. It is an award that has always been changing. It was first established as an award for corporations who exhibit the best partnership with schools, hard to exactly say what earns you one today, but at least the new name is a bit more honest.

I have no clue if this is intentional on your part but Pusherman and the whole Super Fly album, along with pretty much everything by Mayfield are hallmarks of the Civil Rights era as far as music goes. There’s a whole lot of implication packed in that reference when talking about ED&I.

my understanding is that DJ’s at regionals fall under show ready? and that districts av policies are managed in the typical district way of various levels of compliance and qualities

No matter how long you make the DNP, I can find you songs that belong on it that are not. For example the stones and Frank Zappa are not on it.

If by some chance I run out. Don’t worry. Someone will write more.

Frank Zappa has quite a few songs that make a lot of the DNP songs look like the Wiggles or Barney in comparison.

I hope most people use common sense when looking at this list and understand just because something isn’t listed doesn’t mean it should be ok to play.
