Has anyone ever managed to get the FRC C++ toolchain installed on Fedora Linux? There are install scripts on GitHub for the Java toolchains on Fedora which installed perfectly. If anyone knows a way to get a working deb to rpm conversion with alien? I tried but it seems to have conflicting packages.
file / from install of frc-toolchain-2018.1-2.noarch conflicts with file from package filesystem-3.3-3.fc27.x86_64
We are actually using RobotPy this year but having the C++ tools can be useful for simulations and what not. If we can’t figure out how to install them on fedora we do have an extra window laptop we can do C++ stuff on.
