FRC Kickoff Bingo 2013

FRC Kickoff Bingo is back and better than ever for 2013! You can find it here.

You can get a different bingo card by clicking the “Roll again” button, or add another card with the “Add a page” button. The cells are dynamic now, and will toggle grey when you click them. It won’t yell Bingo for you though, so you have to pay attention. Keep track of the FRC world with the live twitter feed in the bottom right, and tweet BINGO when you win!

Happy Kickoff everyone!

Note: I did not make the bingo site, so any comment/suggestions/bugs should be reported to the link at the top of the page.

And it’s printer-friendly! Fantastic!

This is just awesome. 256 will be playing this Saturday at San Jose State! Hope to see you there! And Thank you!

We will be playing at the Palm Desert kickoff…

Two additions that would be nice, add a way to generate a batch of cards, maybe generate a PDF with the batch for easy printing.

rsisk - just click on the “Add a Page” button - it’ll add a second card. Click it again, and it’ll add a third. Click it 20 times, and you’ll have 21 cards on the page, all different - a great way to create a batch for your team. It is printer friendly, so you can print straight from the webpage, and you’ll get 1 card per page.

Is this just virtual yelling?

Or should I be incorporating all the bingo words during the local intro at our local event so we won’t be disturbed while listening to Woodie on the big screen?

I really do look forward to his talk every single year, and I can see where this can be disruptive if people are yelling bingo in an auditorium with 500 people including VIPs.

What am I not getting here?

It’s just supposed to be a fun thing you can do while watching the kickoff. It also increases comprehension, as people are actively listening to the presentations. Feel free to ban the calling of bingo at your discretion.

We do not encourage yelling BINGO during the kickoff, it is disruptive and disrespectful. The original concept was mostly to get people to pay more attention to the speeches and presentations, rather than fiddling with pens, talking amongst themselves or playing on their phones. And while they are printer friendly, it’s really set up for BINGO to be tweeted, rather than shouted verbally.

Thanks Jon!

What about playing bingo ON my phone?

1126 - SparX will be playing along in Rochester, NY!
