FRC Team 23 - 1998 C/A winner

A question to all of you Old FIRSTers out there.

The only info on this team I could find was a brief write up on the C/A page on FIRSTwiki with no more info on FIRSTwikik, TBA, or the FIRST website.

1998 23 Boston Edison & Plymouth North High School

I wanted to find out where they were from exactly?
I’m assuming Massachusetts? Where were they based out of?
Boston, or Plymouth?

Any clues about this now (defunct?) team would be appreciated.

Thanks

I’ve been checking out the TechnoKats history project lately, for a bit of nostalgia. They’ve got all the past year’s manuals, competition results, news articles, etc. dating back to Maze Craze in '92.

The listing for on the awards from the National Championship in '98 has team 23- Boston Edison Company & Plymouth North High School (Plymouth, MA) listed as the Chairman’s Award Winner.

Not much more info than you’ve found out so far, other than that they are/were from Plymouth, MA, not Boston.

Here’s some more history about one of the great teams in FIRST: http://www.pnta.org/history.php

I would talk to Moe from Team 88, he would remember them. All I can remember is they hosted “Rumble at the Rock” in Plymouth, MA.

Here is a video from one of their last regionals
