Team 7605 is proud to present our robot for the 2024 game: DISC-O.

Love the little Amp/Trap mechanism. It looks like it works really well, and weighs only a few pounds.

Thanks! Our goal was to make it as light as possible to stay stable after our climb and to be very quick.

Have you had any issues with the belts slipping or falling off on your arm pivot? My team has been having some rubbing issues with pully flanges, so I was wondering how that has been working out for you.

We haven’t had any issues with them so far, we use tensioners to make sure that they stay stiff and don’t slip off.

How consistent is your trap score? It looks really dialed in.

After doing lots of testing, I’d say we’re at about 85% consistency with an automated sequence that takes around 12 seconds. We’ll have to test it on the real field to see if that number stands, but I’m not too worried.
