FRC Top 25 St. Louis Champs Results. Show Link

Thank you to everyone who tuned in last night for FUN Recap and the FRCTop25 for Houston Champs Teams. We had nearly 400 votes overall for the final FRCTop25 and are delighted to show who was at the top of the Houston Champs.

Thank you to our guest: Dante Dilella from from the Rules Review Committee along with Josh Goodman who was the Game Announcer on Einstein to give us some of the behind the scenes. Also a big thank you to all of the division analysts for putting in their hard work to give us great breakdowns of divisions.

View the episode here. I added in time codes but I would personally recommend that you check out the division analysis from Tom Bottiglieri and Brandon Holley from Tem 1254 The Chezy Cakes. The direct link is here for this preview.

Our next episode with post Championship breakdowns including the 2017 FRCTop25 final poll with Looking Forward Expert Rankings will take place on Tuesday 5/2 starting at 8:00pm Eastern. Also tentative plan to have an open Q&A with Frank for about 15 minutes so think of some questions.

Note: We are only releasing the FRCTop25 for St. Louis Teams. We will not be answering where your team ended up until after the post-champs show where the full breakdown will be available. If you team made it into the FRCTop25 we will stop by your pit with a sweet swag sticker that we would be delighted to put on your robot to show off your accomplishment.

I guess 33 made a pretty bad pick by taking 2834 over 469 for top pick at MSC

I did really enjoy this week’s episode though!

upset and surprised 4039 didn’t make the list this year thought 5 blue banners and a 53-20 record would seal it this year  oh well always next season! congrats to all the teams on their amazing robots and great season! see you all at worlds

I read through the list twice looking for you guys. I am as surprised as you!

Take a look at the Archimedes teams in the Top 25.

  1. 188
  2. 67
  3. 217
  4. 2337
  5. 225
  6. 2590
  7. 558

I was not expecting SEVEN Archimedes teams in the Top 25. I can’t wait to see how the field plays out. There are so many teams that could easily make it to Einstein (1987, 2137, 2611, 2834 and 5172 come to mind), and because of this, there are so many quality teams that may end up as a 3rd robot. Don’t sleep on Archimedes, it is a deep division.

+1. But I will divulge this one team because they missed 25th place by one point in our system

I had a couple questions, that I was hoping the CD Community would be willing or knowledgeable enough to answer.

If we are in the coach division,

A) Where do we pick up our crate
B) Can we choose whose pit we stay in?
C) Does the manual specify who gets to choose the channel on the cable and when?

Thanks a lot guys, it’s my first time going to champs, and I can’t wait to be inspired from the comfort of a coach!

Number 13 isn’t a typo is it?

I said this was going to get confusing having 4976 and 4967 in the same division.

558 most underhyped team of 2017.

Wow, 340 missed another top 25. I expect them to join a very good alliance in Daly, possibly pairing up with 254 for possibly the fastest 4th rotors in Steamworks.

Wow only one team from California in the STL top 25. Better luck next year.
