So my team and I are very interested in using frcsim and need a lot of help. We have done a substantial amount of work, but we believe it is futile because of various problems such as the fact frcsim hasn’t been updated since 2014, there is no real tutorial, and many teams have stated that they have lots of trouble setting it up. We have set up Ubuntu and set up frcsim and it kinda halfway works with the sample code but only with pacgoat. We tried importing a sample robot into Gazebo and halfway did that too because now it’s sideways and too big. We don’t really know what we would do next even if we somehow fixed that. No tutorial really goes far in depth with this.
Can anybody give an updated tutorial or a skype call to help walk us through it. Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance.
