fun to watch. It will be interesting to see what each individual expert said. I think in the coming weeks the poll will definitely start to take a more defined shape. I think after those first 5, the list could basically be all over the board as to where teams were. By the end of week 3, that list will definitely be chalk full of some really great teams.
Great work on this guys, you just added another website to check every time when I get on the internet (Delphi, email, fb,… :P)
btw to any teams attending Wisconsin, 2949 can’t wait to see you all compete. We will be attending and scouting all of you attending Midwest
I noticed my team 245 has 474 ranking points (the same as the #10 team) in the popular poll, yet they are #22 in that poll. How does the popular poll work?
EDIT: Looks like it was changed to 149, which puts us in the right place.
Well, we’re not in the public poll, but we received enough votes in the expert poll to be counted! Interesting that the public poll didn’t favor Kettering teams at all, but the experts had a full 5 teams from Kettering district.
There is a good chance that less people who watched Kettering voted in the public poll. Seems to me that there was a pretty even split between the FLR fans and Alamo fans based on the top 4 teams.
Just out of curiosity who are the experts in the expert poll, (really I don’t care who they are but I am curious how they were selected and how they spread out geographically)
Also Is it possible to record approximate locations of voters, I am curious if in weeks when a regional is held the number of votes for teams in that regional by teams in that region jumps.
During the final update of the website for this week, I noticed one of our expert voters submission was accidentally left out of the final calculations. The order of the top few teams was effected. Mike and I apologize for any confusion on this matter.
Expert votes are not included in the public poll and it was therefore not effected.
As you can see, the tight race between the top 5 teams is indicative of the quality machines that those teams produce. We just wanted to make sure we got the poll right moving forward.
Thanks to all the participated. You can now view each individual expert list on the website. Go easy on them

PS: If you find a mistake on the website please PM me and let me know so it can be addressed. Obviously we’re not perfect
Congrats Don! You guys have an amazing program. I remember when we used to go to NJ when I was on 836, and your team was amazing. You weren’t having the same on the field success you are having these past years, but I knew it would come.
Looking forward to seeing you guys again at VA, this time with my new team 401. Hope we get paired up!
