Congratulations to all teams that competed this past week. There were some historic matches, upsets and nail-bitters. But who will you vote as the Top 25 teams in FRC? Head to the link below yo cast your vote!
Also, feel free to use this thread to try and gain support for teams you feel should be voted for. In doing so I would strongly encourage the use of videos as opposed to just pictures or your own opinions. Post some videos and let people decide for themselves.
The results will be broadcast LIVE on Wednesday, April 4th at 10:30PM EST
971 all the way! Renegade was by far the best robot at SVR, and deserved its 1st seed and regional champion win! 3256 and 1868 were also great, as were 766, 254, 751, and all of the other teams there!
256 will be attending CVR this week, since we completely changed and perfected our strategy in the last two matches of SVR. Good luck to all week 6 teams!
First week I had trouble coming up with the minimum 15. . .
Now I kind of wish this was FRCTop50
Also, I just want to say thank you to everyone involved for making a show that is not only entertaining, but also a great way to recognize the hard work put in by the FRC community. Keep up the great work!
I had an idea, that I’m not sure if you two can do, or want to do, but could you put the number of first place votes next to those teams who receive them? Kinda like the college AP polls. It’d be interesting to see who’s getting the first place votes.
Although they cannot attend and win as many events as those in the district systems, 1986 led the field in both the Greater Kansas City and the St. Louis Regionals, winning these events handily as the No. 1 seed in both. To give an idea of the caliber of the field in Kansas City, see this thread detailing the successes of GKC teams in subsequent events. Lower overall event scores in St. Louis may have handicapped their OPR last week, but they remain an OPR leader.
These highlights give an idea of 1986’s skills. After watching most other TOP25 leaders in match play the last couple of weeks, I would put them up against just about anyone. They continue to work aggressively with their practice bot to add skills and features heading into champs.
