I am not sure if anyone is interested, but I followed the link in the game manual for the schedule 40 aluminum pipe cap, and though they sold them in packs of no fewer than 1000, they did seem to give a free sample of one. I asked to have one shipped to us. That would be enough to ensure your game pieces sit as you think they will.
