Hello, everyone! Team 6908: Infuzed is excited to announce a series of FIRST Robotics-oriented workshops over the next two months. Recognizing the learning curve for new students, we’ve tailored sessions on Engineering Design, CAD, and programming – essential skills for the upcoming build season. We understand that many teams face similar challenges, so as kickoff approaches, we’re extending the opportunity for teams to enhance their members’ understanding of FRC principles through both in-person and online workshops.

  2. CAD Workshops:
    Date: December 2-December 16 (Tentative)
    Time: Every Saturday, 7:00-8:30 PM
    Format: Online
    Facilitator: Team Captain
  3. Revamping a Team Workshop:
    Date: December 19
    Time: 5:30-6:30 PM
    Format: Online
    Facilitator: Team Business and Outreach Leads
  4. Best Practices Workshop:
    Date: December 2023

  5. Engineering Design Cycle Workshop:

    Format: Online

  6. Programming Workshop:

    Format: In-Person

For in-person events, join us at our workspace in Raleigh, NC, and arrive 15 minutes before the workshop begins. Online workshops will be broadcast via Google Meet. Express your team’s interest by replying to this thread with your preferred workshops or by reaching out to us on Instagram @frc6908.

I’m particularly interested in attending workshops 2, 4 and 5. Maybe I can bring a few other members of 9038’s design team as well!

An update will be sent tomorrow for the meeting information. The first CAD workshop will be this Saturday and live-stream information will be sent out as well.

What software do you use for CAD? When is the date specifically? Team 85 Is interested.

Our CAD Workshops will start this weekend. They will feature using OnShape! The dates are each week, Saturday at 7 PM EST starting this weekend.

Hi guys, the second CAD workshop is today between 7:00-8:00!

Recording from Week 2! The recording is also on our twitch channel. This week, the CAD Workshop will be on 12/17/23 at 6:00 PM. We will continue discussing KoP Chassis CAD.

We have been forced to reschedule both workshops this week, postponing them a week.

The next CAD workshop will be next Saturday, while the revamping a team workshop will be on December 26th instead of the 19th.
