This makes me really mad, I had a thread about hacking the segway. It was closed after like 2 days Thread.

I Thought the interenet was all about free speech! This is really stupid. This is what he wrote!

Um. Yeah.

Hacking the Segway.
Hacking is illegal.
Posting stuff about and/or endorsing illegal activities violates one of the ChiefDelphi Forum rules

This thread is closed now, I shouldā€™ve closed it earlier. My mistake.

Ok, noone ever gave away any encryption secrets, we were just talking about the overall vounerablity of the segway.

THIS STUFF TICKS ME OFF, its like how kids can get expelled from school for throwing a Chip in the lunch room! Common, this is Bull!

Free Speech is protected by the United States of America, how can ANY forum or anything on the net demine the authority of the USA!

P.s. The US government just said a hacking conference that the US encourages ā€œGood Faith Hacking!ā€

This forum is a privately owned and operated piece of the internet (not like any governmental body can administrate the internet anyway).

By saying this you have proved that you obviously donā€™t understand the difference between public settings and privately owned sites on the internet. Itā€™s been said before, but Iā€™ll say it again. CD (like any other website) has the right to censor/moderate any and all comments on its site. Youā€™ve just got to deal with it.</edit>

I donā€™t blame cd for closing the form because if they let ā€œsmallā€ stuff go, it soon would be out of control. CD has to control what is posted on their forms because if what was posted was serious enough, they could be sued, and i know they donā€™t want that

Before you through you @#$!$@#$!$@#$!$ at us becuase you first admements right were violated, let me state something to your faceā€¦

The first admement only applies to free places (public parks) and to places of discussion. BUT the owner of the place of discussion can limmit your speech to what he believes is resaonable to the type of place he is running. So Brandon can write

I hate George Bush.

And the US goverment canā€™t do a thing.

But if someone rights

I hate George Bush.

And Brandon disagrees and he thinks this is inappropreate and will lead to bad consequences, he can end it.

Also, in the rules of siging up, it said you canā€™t talk about any illegal activity, such as cracking (different from hacking) into anything, including Segways.

As for the US supporting HACKING, it said it was leagal ONLY IF they report their findings to the company hacked and then the US Attorney.

Mind you Pā€™s and Qā€™s and nobody will get hurtā€¦

just what we need, another one of THOSE people. then people ask me why i donā€™t keep up with CD anymore, isnā€™t it obvious? now i just need to yell something about ā€œits not fair that teams have money and my team doesnā€™tā€ or something crazy like that, and it would be a normal CD dayā€¦ sigh
