The Chicago regional is not until the 27th right??
It’s March 27-29.
I don’t know what we are doing Friday night - hopefully something! Staying at the hotel all night wouldn’t be any fun.
I’m told they have a great Planetaryum and Museum and Aquarium all on the same street. We might end up checking them out.

Yep! The Museum of Science and Industry, the Shedd Aquarium and some art museum (can’t remember the name of it right now.) All three are really neat - especially the museum of Science and Industy!
You could also go see the Sears tower. Hmmm … maybe we could go there. It’s ‘educational’, afterall. :yikes:
Backup plan: Party at my house… :yikes:
Or actually… party at someone’s house I wouldn’t mind trashing…so any of the other Wildstang student’s house…
As for Shedd and Museum of Science and Industry, they both close early, I want to say about 4-6 on weekdays. If you have transportation, I would suggest Sears Tower/a comedy club (there are a couple of really good ones)/State Street/Navy Pier/generally anything downtown can be fun. If you don’t have transportation…hmm…well I don’t know the Northwestern campus that well, but I know an AWESOME BBQ place close by!
::UPDATE:: Friday night we’ve also got…drumroll…YANNI!! WOO!! My Friday night is decided. ::ENDUPDATE::
aTm
The Museum of Science and Industry, the Shedd Aquarium, and the Adler Planetarium all close pretty early, sometimes. I wouldn’t bet on them being open.
Navy Pier is open, and can be a lot of fun (with the right amount of money, of course).
My big suggestion, especially with those who are not familiar with the city - find someplace specific, a restaurant like Ed Debevic’s (kids love it), Rock N’ Roll McDonalds, or the Rainforest Cafe. (I would suggest the Hard Rock Cafe, but it is ALWAYS packed. Don’t plan on getting room for thirty on short notice… or even on long notice.)
Whatever you end up doing, don’t just wander around the city and hope to find something to do. It’s really easy to get lost, but with some planning, you’ll be fine and have a great time.
Or, from what I hear, the entire Purdue team is staying at Chris Noble’s house… maybe there’s a party over there. I call the couch!
(Oh man, I’m so dead now…)
we were thinking the navy pier…
sorry if i freaked people out by saying friday…i just ment the friday of the competition…not this friday:)

Looking over their locations across the US (including 2:yikes: in Houston! YES!!!) I’m afraid these ones would say Chicago if it were Chicago.
Sorry guys.
