We just completed our plywood Cascade Effect practice ramp. What is the official match ramp/platform made of though? Is it plastic? Or metal or what? We saw one at Kickoff but didn’t think to ask what it was made of…

We just completed our plywood Cascade Effect practice ramp. What is the official match ramp/platform made of though? Is it plastic? Or metal or what? We saw one at Kickoff but didn’t think to ask what it was made of…
The ramp is made of Plexiglas with a red or blue coating. The Tetrix wheels grip well, but it is smooth, almost slick, to the touch.
If anyone has any other questions just ask, my team is fortunate enough to have half of a field.
It’s an aluminum clad plastic. I think many sign shops will carry it, but the plastic shop I was at today called it polymetal - eg http://www.nudo.com/p_polymetal.php. Same stuff the base of the center structure is made of.
I can confirm that the ramp I helped assemble at kickoff was aluminum-clad acrylic.
It is almost for sure not acrylic-that is much to fragile and also does not look or feel like the black stuff in between the aluminum. It is probably a product like this one: http://www.regalplastic.com/display-graphic-substrates/aluminum/aluminum-clad-panels
