Maryland FIRST Tech Challenge partner STEMaction, Inc. is excited to announce the inaugural Maryland Tech Invitational.
The mission of the Maryland Tech Invitational (MTI) is to bring together FIRST Tech Challenge teams across the world who have demonstrated excellence in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) for a high quality competitive tournament. Spots will be earned through achievement in the FTC robot game during the 2016-2017 season.
The MTI will take place Saturday June 24, and Sunday June 25, 2017 at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, MD.
Up to thirty-six FTC teams will compete on the playing field at the MTI over two days. The MTI’s Winning Alliance, Finalist Alliance and will be given cash value awards directed to their teams’ school or non-profit to support continued participation in the FIRST Tech Challenge program.
Application deadline is April 16, 2017.
