FTC Offseason Events

I haven’t head of many FTC offseason events and all the threads on Chief Delphi I can find are really old, does anyone know of a place where I can look for offseason events or just tell me of any they know of? The only one I’m aware of is the Chicago Robotics Invitational.

FUN streamed the two big ones: CRI and MTI. Playlists for all matches are on our YouTube channel.

https://ftc-events.firstinspires.org/ is the official site for off-seasons. You may find listings at theorangealliance.org too but they seemed to stop updating events in June.

Thank you very much!

Boston Tech Initiative Student Interns are Proud to Present Boston Tech Initiative Invitational (BTII) 1.0, taking place at the MIT Johnson Ice Rink, site of Dr. Woodie Flower’s 270/2.007 Finals today August 20th! The event is open to the public.

Information about the event can be found here: https://bostontechinitiative.org/btii-off-season-event/

Our Interns have reimagined in a way that you’ve never seen before. It is even rumored to get a Water Themed Rebrand because you all have been asking for it forever?! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: We are so excited for the required Mentor/Adult Match and all wiffle ball match! To view our amended game rules and new autonomous challenge please see:

We would like to acknowledge our event sponsors AndyMark, GoBilda, Aquabotix, and Charged Concepts as well as the New England FTC Community for supporting our student intern efforts and making this event a reality.

Feedback on the event is welcomed and encouraged. Next year the Invitational will be bigger, badder, more ridiculously fun, and open to all FTC teams beyond New England!

Additionally if you would like to support the event and our student internship projects you can by a limited edition Inaugural BTII Water Freight Frenzy Cleanup T-Shirt through our CustomInk Fundraiser:

Come join us on the fun whether in-person or virtual! Grateful to you all. This one is for you Woodie for inspiring us all!

Kind Regards,
BTI Interns and Wayne
