Hi, we have had some questions with this rule update that was made in the Team Update 03. We have been wondering since this piece is still technically a Sample would you be able to hang them off the edge of either baskets. This question has been posted on the FIRST Q&A form but has yet to be answered. Any help clarifying is greatly appreciated, Thank you.
I believe that it means that it would be considered a sample, as specimens have to be alliance specific colors, so even if the clip was attached, if you scored it on the bars, it would not count.
Make sure to keep in mind that while 9.7.1 was updated (as pictured), section 10.5.1 remains unchanged.
