How does FUN plan on adding to this conversation in a way that isn’t rehashing the same arguments?

With facial expressions that show both sides of the argument of course.

There’s plenty of room for productive discussion of the subject that isn’t represented by its standard treatment on Chief Delphi.

This is a great question Katie. To be honest it may or may not in each person’s perspective. The best I can do is present the premise of the show Roasts and Robots:

R&R is a ‘coffee talk’ round table show where we bring in multiple representatives of the FRC community to have civil discussions on topics in FRC.

So in this case we plan to bring on guests to talk about their experiences and share their opinions. What discussions come out of it are completely unknown and we hope to have productive audience input like we typically do on our shows.

I was replying here with an idea to view the topic at a different angle, but I decided to create another thread to open the discussion on CD. Informing New Participants FRC is Mentor Based

Tyler, it may be too late for this to be discussed tomorrow, but I think it is a conversation worth having

I’m especially looking forward to hearing from RC. 1323 has had a meteoric performance boost these last 2 years especially, and I’m interested to learn about how they do things. They did a lot of good for the community with the MCC+ this year.

oops

something about my computer setup isn’t happy with the link you posted…???

Thanks for pointing this out. I will fix this in a bit and update.

Edit: Links should be fixed. Thank you

Where do you guys get your ELO Data? Can I see a global ranking of all teams?

I’m not sure if this is where they got it from but here is a list of ELO rankings going year by year and across multiple years.

It comes from this TBA blog post

We use @Caleb_Sykes ELO data. He would probably be best to speak on this.

I keep a list of 2019 Elos in my scouting database. I update that workbook weekly.
