I was wondering if people could post pictures of the Coral and Algae.
I figured this could be a public resource where teams could upload pictures of the game elements in a variety of lighting conditions and positions. Ideally online hosting platforms (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) will be used, as to not flood CD with individual images.
This resource would allow programmers to develop and train Object detection remotely for when they don’t have in-person access to game elements. It would also ensure that a wide set of conditions are had, thus improving the quality of a trained model!
More data the better right?
