Don’t forget, game pieces are now on sale
http://www.logoloc.com/first/RNR/index.html
Thanks for the reminder. Tubes ordered!
WOW expensive.:ahh:
$35.00 for a 12 piece game pack , not really expensive.
yeah but did you notice the $24.57 shipping cost?
the shipping is ridiculous on these things
ya it’s a very good idea to buy them now, the balls last year were sold out extremely fast. Is there only one distributor or can we hit a dollar store and clean them out? They should have the same dimensions or very close.
are the spoilers really smaller than the other game pieces?
Where do you see that?
Looks like someone just rendered them with a perspective camera and not in orthographic
Edit
It looks like their server just crapped out.

All better
I hope it’s just an illusion…now that you mention it, the red ring does appear smaller than the blue one.
quick check shows the blue ring at 256 pixels, red at 240, black at 216, roughly.
I’m still slightly concerned, as some gripping ideas depend on the size of the rings.
The ones at kickoff were the same size.
6.3 GAME PIECES
The GAME PIECES are toroidal tubes made of inflatable plastic. When inflated, each GAME
PIECE is approximately 32 inches across the outer diameter. Each toroid has an inner diameter of
approximately 13 inches, and a height of approximately 9-1/2 inches. There are three types of
GAME PIECES used in the game.
6.3.3 SPOILERS
“SPOILERS” are similar in size and
shape to the other tubes, except that
they are made of opaque black
plastic. Each ALLIANCE will start the
game with two SPOILERS located in
their ALLIANCE ZONE.
thanks, that’s what I thought, but not having access to a spoiler at the remote kickoff it was hard to see exactly what size they were. The illustration at the store clearly shows them to be different sizes…I guess we have to keep in mind that some illustrations are “art”
They should all be the same size and thickness.
I have found the FIRST online store to be a little bit sketchy in the past. Does anyone know if they send confirmation e-mails for orders?
Also, it seems that if you are not buying a ton of stuff, you are paying more for shipping than for the products!
I did not get a email yet.
The last time I ordered from Logoloc was quite a while ago
Date : 1 May 2004 - 02:15
I did get a confrmation e-mail back then.
I would expect that still applies.
I think these are better priced than last year; poof balls last year were $4-5 a piece, and if you didn’t get the 40 balls deal they were like $7-8. These tubes look to be about $3 each.
And as for shipping, our team paid somewhere close to $100 for the poof balls last year, I consider these a bargain.
