Build season is over, but this is about the driver station so I figure it’s still fair game. We want to use TI’s MSP430 LaunchPad, and have already soldered the button wires in place. But it appears the old Gamepad Tool to configure it needs the 2015 Labview Runtime Engine. Has anyone found a workaround for it?
Sorry about that, it hadn’t been re-built for 2016!
You have two options:
Download and install the LabVIEW 2015 run-time engine here.
Or,
Download the latest version of the tool here.
So the 2017 Gamepad Tool that came in the FRC Update package does not work? Oops.
Yeah it depends on the LabVIEW 2015 Run-time, this effects any team that has a machine clean of last year’s team update. An unfortunate oversight.
