We’re bringing the limit up from 18 teams to 24 this year, and have already had 15 teams sign up! If you haven’t signed up yet but want to attend, register here on our website. Those who want to volunteer can sign up in the same place.
We will be changing some rules this year, keep an eye on this thread to find out about the specifics closer to the event.
We are excited to be adding some workshops and seminars to the schedule this year. We haven’t fully determined the specifics, but you can be sure to expect expect hands on classes on CAD, as well as a Chairman’s round-table.
“The Green Machine” is super excited to be returning to the Gitch for (I believe) our 3rd year. We’re glad to see the return of both of our winning alliance partners from last year’s Gitch returning this year as well, 4009 (8009) Denfeld DNA and 3102 Tech-No-Tigers.
Team 3275 and 3134 are excited to attend for our 2nd year. Do you have a rundown on how the event will run this year. Also our team makes trophies and plaques As a fundraiser for a lot of our school events and are somewhat renowned for it. We would be happy to arrange something if needed.
Pm me if interested.
Seems like this should get a bump to the top. 6 days and counting.
For the teams that are going to Duluth next weekend. I have an extra female student room available. (2 beds) If any teams would like to claim them please let me know. The meal reservations are also available.
Can’t get a current list … cause I don’t have one. Seems like a lot of teams are truely getting the opportunity to test new drive teams and human players. Our day started out just like Regionals started with a win then “couldn’t get a win” maybe contributed to the drive team mixer. Ended the day with 2 win for a 3-3 record. Our second to last was the only 4 rotors with a two climb. Funny thing that match our alliance was ranked 16, 17, and 18th of 22 teams. The opposition had a #1, #12, and #22 alliance.
We are looking forward to another great day of robotics.
We are home safely. Thank you 2512 for putting on this great event and the focus on building our teams younger members skills in new player rolls. Also for joining us along with 2846 as the #3 alliance. Competition was fierce and fair. Not sure how many matches were decided by the 1 or 2 auto fuel delivered. Was more than a handful for our team. Everyone played well there were no real power house or struggling teams.
