Gloating Just a Bit

I know I’ve been gloating a bit lately - but I’ve been floored by the amount of community support we are getting and I want to show off. Today we had the pleasure of getting four tables built custom for us by the Carpentry 1 and 2 classes at our high school.

Now if I can just raise enough for a good field perimeter.

I wouldn’t consider it gloating!
Any school that promotes robotics is worthy of attention!
I’m envious…but, completely in a good way. I would love for my school to begin using robotics as a major component of its STEM curriculum.

You should gloat! Getting that kind of support from your school is awesome!

We have some of those massive tables too, but no caster wheels :no_mouth:
they are a pain to move, but this is a really great idea! It’s nice to see robotics being supported/thought of by the school.

Nice. I like that the surface is good quality wood, like the old woodshop tables my 1950s-built schools had.

And the top panel is easily replaceable in a few years if we need to.

This is very cool.

We do the same replaceable top-level on our pit box work surfaces.

Great way for your community to engage with your school programs! Congrats.

Nothing boosts productivity like a good work surface! A lot of people don’t give a good table credit, but something sturdy with a nice top will take you far.
