I just feel the need to post tonight, While all of you are takling about your NHL/NBA playoff teams, us baseball fans in Wisconsin have nothing to cheer about. The Brewers have not made the post-season in 20 years, and have not finished the season with a winnign record in 10, which is the worst losing streak in all of professional sports. But, we still love them.
You just can’t beat heading down to Miller Park 3 hours early with a bunch of friends and firing up the grill to eat some fresh brats, it is a great time.
So please keep supporting the Brewers, they’re gonna come through one day, and they have won 2 games in a row. Go Brewers!!!
The Jays haven’t done that great in a good few years too hunn. And they’ve traded so many good people. And ewww our pitching this year is horrible. sigh another failed season in the making. And I’ll probably be watching all summer. sigh hugz to all as alwayz
Ann-Marie -team 783
I haven’t been back to Milwaukee yet to watch at the new park but I can remember having such a great time at the old one. I drove past the new one and it is impressive. Milwaukee is such a great town (expecially if you are older than 21) you realize that when you leave (I grew up in Pewaukee!) Now I have to settle with another wonderful team (Go Tigers?!)
Sausage Races are cool. Make fun of it, and one of the
> Sausages will
> come up from the field of Miller Park and lay down an 8
> foot sausage %%%
> kicking on you.
My dad snuck our video camera into Miller Park because the Security Guards weren’t too bright and they were more worried about the drunks…but we got the sausage race on tape and its really funny…
I appreciate the support, we here are getting ready for our 3 Game Tailgate next week, we plan on going to the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night games against those Cubs. Who needs to study anyways?

Hey, things can be worse just looking at the Yankee’s rival to he north… the Boston Red Sux.(they haven’t won a world series since 1918…and btw thanks for Ruth) any team can have a bad few years…remembers stories of the early 1980’s its when the years turn into decades upon decades that it becomes a problem. So look on the bright side…you could be a Devil Rays fan

**Note to Cubs Fans:
Last Trip to the World Series: 1945
Last World Series Win: 1908
Milwaukee’s Last Trip to World Series: 1982
Last World Series: 1957 (as Milwaukee Brewers) Does that count?
Face it, the cubs and the brewers will never win a world series ever again…but still the brewers are my team! **
Actually they were the Milwaukee Braves back then, so the Brewers technically have never won a World Series, and I’m sure if they ever will it will be a while!
I’m gonna be at both this Saturday and Sunday game when the Padres are playing agains the Brewers at home. We’re gonna get you guys back for last weekend!

Ok holdup for a second the Red Sox right now are the best team in baseball and your telling me that the Yankees are still good. We don’t even have Manny Ramirez and we’re still ahead of you puzzling huh:confused: Well here’s one hint Nomar’ s better than Jeter. And I got my t-shirt to prove it.

Sure I’ll give it to you that the Red Sux are the best team in baseball right NOW, but the season is still young (the Yanks are a close second and they’re not going anywhere). Just a word on the best team; let’s remember the ALCS last year…didn’t the Mariners own those wonderful Yankees in the regular season. At any rate the yanks whooped them in 5 games and can do it again this year.
p.s. don’t get your hopes up just because your good now doesn’t mean you’ll be good by the all-star break or the post season
