This is a simple scouting form I created that can be used on Android, iOS, Web, or pretty much anything that can access an excel editor. Specifically, Google sheets is used.
Method:
-Scouters copy the Google sheets onto their phones, and share the file with the head scouter: scouting form
-Scouters enter match data into the form
-During a set interval of matches data is sent over to the Head Scouter.
-This can be sent by micro USB (Android only), Bluetooth, going to an internet access area outside of the match area, turning on data to save online, and many other ways.
-Head scouter copies the data in the 'Data Aggregation ’ sheet of the scouting form into the ‘Data Aggregation’ in the data entry form.
-as data is pasted into the data entry tab, it automatically goes into the pivot table.
-Specific match data can be seen through the ‘Compiling’ sheet in the data entry form.
*Note this is set up for the FIM Troy competition. If one wants to change this to a specific event, simply change the formulas in the compiling tab to=Filter(‘Data Aggregation’!D$2:AH$3040,‘Data Aggregation’!C$2:C$3040=the team number that you want). Also do not forget to change the numbers of the teams in the pivot table and teams section.
