Team 2491 is wondering if anyone has spare large googly eyes serving the purpose of better telling the front from the back of our robot for our driver. We also thought googly eyes would be a fun touch! We tried pit admin but (pretty understandably) we were denied.

Don’t do it, they sabatoge your robot. We worked fine, put on googly eyes and then our entire can bus broke. I swear they have ghosts in them.
The pit admin filter is bad at their job…that’s a valid request.

I’d recommend bright tape, rather than googly eyes. It will be easier to see from across the field.

It was starting to get a little late at the time so that was a probably part of it.
Countering @Cynosure’s point, 1672 uses googly eyes every year to create an easy-to-understand frame of reference. This year, the eyes faced backwards, in order to trick the opposing alliance (and definitely not because of lack of planning). We love 'em and recommend that all teams in FRC join us in googly eyes gang!
We have googly eyes on our intake. I will check with our team and see if we packed spares in the toolbox.
You can also check in with Team 587. They always carry spare googly eyes and love to share.

You were actually the first people I asked after I saw your intake. It it possible that I just asked the wrong person at 587.
