Would it be legal to hang in between the two sides of the poles (rungs),

EX: our hook would be spaced out 7-8 inches so we can be in the middle and potentially keep the scale level as long as it doesn’t damage the field elements?

wondering of its legality if our team decides to take the route do that 3 robots can climb and Potentially be level/us being the only ones that can climb and wanting to grab the extra 15 points

Yes, it is legal to hang between the two halves of the Generator Switch.
