In the wind-down after competition season, I think we should all take a moment to give thanks to all the mothers that support their kids in FRC. Thank you to the moms who pick up the “one extra piece of metal we need in an hour” or drive us to competitions and off-season events, who help with fundraising for the teams, and who deal with the late nights and the absence of their children for months at a time.
I hope every FRC student wishes their mom an extra special “Happy Mother’s Day” and remembers that it is the moms who keep our teams up and running through all hours of the night.
