Hardware for Chezy Arena

Hey CD,

The Average Joes plan to add Chezy Arena to our permanently installed full size practice field. My very basic understanding is that this will be a network of three computers, one each at the Red and Blue driver stations and one at the scoring table. Can someone please recommend specs for those, and for any required peripherals such as displays at each team station, routers, etc.? We are putting together a budget now.

The intent is to add a full scrimmage capability initially, and then later a full automated scoring capability.

Thanks in advance,

We have cheesy arena setup in our shop.

We ordered the following:
Linksys WRT1900ACS
Cisco Catalyst WS-C3560G-48TS-E (search eBay)
500’ of CAT 6 (CAT 5e should work fine)
100 Pack of Ethernet Connectors
Ethernet Crimper
Computer to run the software (we went overkill and bought a 200$ Dell R710)

Total investment was sub 1k w/ some purchases from eBay.

The cheesy arena wiki has some good resources. This page helped me the most.
