I’m trying to figure out what the most common hardware in use and from what vendors they originate for building out a few wrapper and support libraries to see what is the most used and what to focus on.

FIRST does some sort of a report using data sent from robot code to the FMS (well through the DS blah blah), most vendors have some sort of a unique identifier.
Idk when it’s going to be released, last year it was September, but you can use the 2022 one in the meantime: 2022 Control System Reporting, 2023 Updates, and Beta Testing
I reckon this year the REV/CTRE ratio grew a little but it’s still good data

Also, it’s Pigeon and not Pidgeon

Yeah, they have a few other shapes but that’s the one.
