As Cory said, our robot was one of the ones left in Atlanta. It shipped on Monday 5/4 and is due home on Thursday. We did get a tracking number so if you still don’t have one it is likely it is not in the system. I would call Shepard asap so that if it is still in Atlanta it will get shipped soon. They said that they would contact the other teams but no telling when that might be.
Good luck on getting it back on time for your demos. It’s pretty stressful to think that your bot might be lost. Last week before we figured out where it was, team 753 called us (that’s the team whose robot was accidentally sent to us) and said that they had shipped two crates and decided to abandon one in Atlanta to save costs. They were worried that maybe our robot and crate had been destroyed instead of theirs. Talk about stress. Shepard assured us that they would never destroy a crate with something inside but we didn’t figure that out until the next morning.
Of all the years to lose a robot …
