We finally got our robot back and just unpacked the crate a few hours ago.
Just in time for our first event tomorrow evening. WHEW!!! :ahh:
We were probably the last team to get theirs backâŚhehe.
Thatâs good to hear!
Reviving this thread.
Has anyone received their robots from Atlanta yet?
Ours doesnt show up in the Fedex tracking system as of yet.
1868 received theirs last Friday and ours is in Santa Clara and will be delivered this week.
Apparently 1676âs robot was shipped today. I thought they would have sent it by now.
Our Robot was picked up Monday.
1334 received ours last Wednesday. Impressive considering she wasnât coming up in the tracker the night before and we really werenât expecting her for a few weeks.
2854âs will be delivered Friday this week.
According to FedEx our crate should be delivered on Thursday.
As of a few days ago FedEx has not shipped our robot yet. This could be bad since WPI BatteCry11 is almost a week away! Thankfully we are fixing our practice robot to meet the competition robotâs standard from Atlanta in case it does not show up. Just wondering what other teams up here will do if theirs donât show up and donât have a practice robot! :o
Team 3339 from Israel didnât get their robot back till now!!!
I want my robot back!!!@!$#@@$@%
Our bot arrived home yesterday.
Our robots havent left Atlanta yet.
Pretty frustrating since we have our biggest showcase event in a few days.
Anyone else not get theirâs back yet.
If I knew this was going to happen, I would have left it in the mainland for off-season events.
What are you guys planning to do other than for IRI? I heard that 368 is going to do IRI also! Good luck and hope you guys get your robot back in time for your demo. Go Hawaii:D
Got ours back last week.
should i be worried if the robot didnt return yet from nationals?
Yeah⌠you shouldâŚ
Checking out this thread, it looks like shipping the robot from Atlanta cause great stress to the Hawaiian Kids every year. Maybe you need to move your biggest fundraiser / showcase back a few weeks so you donât have this agony year after year. Or just plan on not having this yearâs robot and then being pleasantly surprised if it shows up on time. :]
Yes.
We had our event last week, even without our robot. We showed a 2003 one, since it was small and compact.
Its hard to plan it any later as our seniorâs last day is today, graduation at weekâs end, and summer starting next week.
Its more on the shipping costs since it has to go back yet again to the mainland for the 3rd time this summer. Wouldâve been nice to have more time to fix it after getting beat up all season.
368 said Hawaii would be shipped dead last with the international shipments.
speaking of shipments, it just left ATL yesterday expected back home tomorrow.
