Help Needed from FRC/FTC & please return my hat

I am working very diligently with DonorsChoose.org to help set up an easy way for us to utilize their incredible fundraising platform and I need your assistance.

What robotics vendors do you currently use? These vendors need to be specific and not selling generic things. The list my team uses is:

AndyMark
Vex
Automation Direct
DigiKey
McMaster Carr

They currently have grainger and amazon on their vendor list.

I need to create a list of vendors for FRC and then for FTC. Please reply and list the vendors you use. Hopefully we will have this up for the fall. I absolutely have no idea what FTC uses.

Now my hat request:
Whomever “borrowed” my red, faded, Einstein volunteer hat [from the 2010 or 11 game] with all of the signatures on it, please pm me and I will send you a shipping label at no cost to you to have it returned or if you see one of your team members wearing it. My students apparently thought that using it as the goal post for their glow in the dark soccer game at the Discovery Green party was a good idea, but someone borrowed it and the team spent an hour looking for it. [They didn’t tell me until after we were on the plane going home when I asked for it back for our school showcase; I honestly didn’t miss it because they were all wearing it all weekend, or so I thought]. I will give someone money from MAR to buy you a World Championship hat this weekend and ship it to you.

For Vendors, you can add:

Cross the Road Electronics
Rev Robotics
The Robot Space
West Coast Products
221 Robotic Systems

There’s probably a few more but that’s what I can think of right now.

Those I can think of we’ve used recently which are not in either list:
[ul]
[li]Pololu[/li][li]Powerwerx[/li][li]RobotShop[/li][li]SparkFun[/li][li]Jameco[/li][li]US Plastic[*]LynxMotion[/li][li]OnlineMetals[/li][li]ServoCity[/li][li]Dave’s Discount Motors[/li][li][Bolt Depot[/li][li]Automation Direct[/li][li][URL=“http://www.bimba.com/”]Bimba[/li][li]AdaFruit[/li][li]Mouser Electronics[/li][li]Hanson Rivet[/li]](https://www.automationdirect.com/)[/ul]

And of course, we source things locally from Ace and TruValue Hardware, Home Depot, Lowes, Fastenal, Motion Industries, Hobby Lobby, Harbor Freight, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Auto Zone, and so forth, as well as local companies like Bayou Metals.

You may also want to include some of the other companies who donated products or vouchers to the KoP.

Add:

Mindsensors
80/20
Clippard
Inventables

Software Vendors:
National Instruments
AutoDesk
PTC
SolidWorks
Tableau

Sorry about your hat, I hope it finds its way home!

Would add ePlastics, Discount Steel, and Copper State. Also Sparkfun and Competition Robot Parts.

Edit: Also Misumi

Edit: Another, SDP-SI

Though its not a vendor its a very helpful website that gets you to the correct vendor for the products that you are looking for.
