HELP! PLEASSSEEEE!

Alright, 422 is in trouble… again. We desperately need the NASA and DuPont logos in a clean, printable picture format that can be easily silkscreened (no jagged digital images, preferably vector graphics, etc.). We’re not looking for the NASA meatball logo (big blue splotch background), we’re looking for the bubble letters with the white strips running between them. We can’t find the DuPont logo online ANYWHERE in a picture that’s big enough to be considered adequate.

Given all these, we need these by Friday night, Saturday night at the very latest. We need to get our shirts into the silkscreener immediately or we go to Nationals with tape on our backs saying “This shirt under construction… again… - 422”.

PS: I will personally give anyone who responds a giant hug (if the person so prefers) and anything reasonable their heart desires at Nationals who helps us out… we need these quickly and done well.

I am not sure what you mean by the NASA logo with “the bubble letters with the white strips running between them.” Is this the one you mean? (this is known as the NASA “worm logo” - officially, we are not supposed to use it any more; the only official NASA logo is the “meatball” blue splotch background logo). If this is the one you want, e-mail me me with your contact info, and I can send you a high-res version tomorrow.

Ask other teams with the same sponsors…
Find them in the big list with edit/find/dupont

sorry if I only said the obvious to you

Sure! I’ll fire up my paint program and quickly get that for ya. It’s no problem…

The Dupont logo is on our website. It is the logo then it says “the miracle of science” after it. There is also one of “Dupont 200 years celebration” logo

also try duponts website: duPont

Thank you all very much for your help. Our shirts are currently at the silkscreeners’, being printed out (unfortunately we got ours in after a baseball team did, so we’re going to be handing out shirts to team members in the parking lot of our school when we leave for Nats…)

I really appreciate all of your help in such a short time!

When I’m looking for high-res sponsor logos, I find that usually the best place to look is in PDF files on the company website. Look for a quarterly report or something, which will usually have a high-res logo in it somewhere (seeing as it’s meant for printing). Then I usually just take the cheap way out by zooming all the way in on the logo and taking a screen capture. Sometimes you have to change the colours later.

I know this is no longer relevant to this particular thread, but I thought it might be useful for future reference.

Google can be amazingly good at finding coporate logos. I found an eps file of the Motorola logo by searching for “Motorolalogo.eps”. It is amazing the number of questions which can be answered much quicker by a google search then actually searching yourself.
