So, we were trying to reimage our RoboRIO for 2018, but after receiving an error, our RoboRIO now only displays a blinking orange status light indicating that an “unrecoverable error” has occurred. Also, repeated reimaging attempts give us the same error. Anyone have any troubleshooting ideas or any way to reset Rio to allow for reimaging?

Have you tried rebooting the roboRIO into safe mode by pressing and holding the reset button and then re-imaging as suggested in the troubleshooting steps here? Also, some of the other troubleshooting steps there may help.
