Team 8738, SLICE, was able to receive the Rookie All-Star Award at the FIRST North Carolina District Championship. This enabled the team to compete at worlds with our robot. We have been lucky enough to receive a grant to register for worlds but that is the remainder of our funding. Going to worlds as a rookie team is a major achievement and our community could not be more proud but we lack funding to send students to this impactful experience. We would love it if y’all were able to take a look at our fundraiser. Anything, no matter the size, even sharing would make a huge impact! Thank you so much and I hope to see y’all at worlds!
