HELP Whatever shall I do at DETROIT?

I am planing on going to the Detroit regional on Saturday and maybe Friday, I wanted to know what the people of the Chief Delphi Community thought I should do. These are my three choices;
1.Attend Friday and Saturday, Work with another team and help them do scouting, my favorite thing in the world.
2.Attend Friday and Saturday, Volunteer and work for the lovely people of FIRST, ideally as field crew/ref.
3.Attend Friday/Saturday, go by myself or with my friends and just watch and have no responsibilities to anyone.

Please help me with this conundrum

I’ll probably be there all three days to support 515 and run the scouting effort for them. You’re welcome to come help me!

Volunteer, if they’ll take you at this point. Lots of fun, no pressure other than is the field right (unless you ref), and all the matches from about six feet away. How cool is that?

A note to all who are thinking about volunteering at an event - you must enter your profile in VIMS so that background checks can be performed… This takes time! Ideally you will enter your profile in VIMS when it becomes functional for the season so that the Volunteer Coordinators can see who is interested in working at their event early in the season… Don’t forget to select working at the Championships if you can… and if you are from the FRC program, consider working at one of the other programs at Champs - it’s a great way to see what that program is all about!

Jack – I recently had to drop my position as referee at the Detroit Regional. I am not sure at this moment if they have found someone to replace me, so if you’re interested, enter your VIMS information and contact me so I can talk to the head referee so that he knows there is interest.

Every year I volunteer all three days as a member of field rest, it is so much fun.
