Hey guys, I’m the programmer for my team, and I’m trying to write autonomous. We saw a team at the UVA competition that had a really good autonomous; it went down the ramp, turned right and right again to get the pucks, then rotated and went to score. All the pucks from one rack in the circle, every time. What would be the best thing to use to acomplish this? Dead reckoning or sensors? Any helpful ideas from anyone?
Thanks,
Steve
there are some teams who have posted sample code already.

EDIT: whoops. didn’t notice you were asking for ftc…
.
Not for FTC, they haven’t. Not there at any rate.
(This thread should probably be moved to the FTC forum.)
Sensors would probably be your best bet for accuracy and repeatability. Dead reckoning is really easy to throw off; all it takes is a nudge from another robot.
