hi im wondering how to wire up switches to the bread board, where does the signal wire and where does the ground wire go??
Here is a photo of the pinout of the IO board: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=8352&d=1264090529
For switches:
-
Ground wire connects to either of the pins labeled “Gnd”
-
Signal wire connects to any of the pins labeled “Digital input”
For potentiometers: -
Ground wire connects to either of the pins labeled “Gnd”
-
Signal wire connects to any pin labeled “Analog input”
-
Power wire connects to either of the pins labeled “VDDIO”
When you have the I/O board mounted on the breadboard, one column of pins should be directly accessable via the breadboard, but the other column will need extension wires under the I/O board that bring out the pins that you need to get at to an outside breadboard row you can connect to.
