Help with Training

I am the CAD Captain for the Prosper Engineering Team (FIRST in Texas District) and I have been tasked with standardizing the training programs for CAD/Mech, and helping organize the programming and electrical trainings. Right now, we have “skills ladders” where rookies can go through and learn certain skills at each level. This is actually working pretty well, except that I have to make the lessons for each level and I can’t keep up with the pace that they are being completed by the members of the team.

Our mentors are wanting something more cohesive, and this is our solution, but at this point I just feel kind of overwhelmed. Any insight into how y’all do your training would be super helpful!

Thanks!

1678 Citrus Circuits Training Resources Release for general design stuff and FRC3005 RoboChargers Summer Onshape CAD Class for CAD skills

Please remember, not every need can be (fully) met in a single season or by a single person. the important thing is that process/structure is in place so that if you don’t finish, another will pick up your torch (on any project, not just this one).

It would be best to use existing curricula rather than trying to make your own. Iwill be difficult to do better than the materials linked by Durgabo and it will take a lot of your time.
